In order to promote the classical guitar within the musical culture in Styria and surrounding, the nonprofit organization under the name ˝Guitar Styria Musikverein˝ has been established in 2024. Beside the formal education, young generations needs to get the opportunity to grow their musical identity, learn from each other, be inspired by renowned artists from Austria and abroad, gather new experiences and be taught by great masters of this beautiful instrument.

Johann Joseph Fux Konservatorium and Guitar Styria Musikverein are partners, together organising the series of educational events called Guitar Styria Club which is meant for classical guitarists, from beginners to very advanced players, guitar teachers… with one word, it’s meant for all the classical guitar enthusiasts! On five saturdays during the school year, our guitar meetings will include:

• workshops
• lectures
• concerts
• masterclasses
• performance classes
• round tables for guitar teachers
• social gatherings and a lot of fun!
