Nives Oser
Nives Oser (1990) studied with Prof. Martin Myslivećek (concert performance and master’s degree in instrumental/vocal pedagogy) at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz from 2009 to 2016. During her training at the music school in Murska Sobota, Slovenia, she participated in guitar festivals and seminars and won several prizes in competitions. This was followed by concerts as a soloist and in various chamber music formations.
Her consistent engagement with pop, jazz and Latin music, as well as her interest in improvisation, have led Nives to make a name for herself in the field of fingerstyle. Further development and musical openness are just as important to her self-image as the enthusiasm with which she inspires the youngest generation of guitarists.
Nives gained her first experience in music education at the music schools in Beltinci (SLO) and Bad Radkersburg, as well as at the Burgenland Music School Association, before taking over her guitar class at the Kapfenberg Music School in 2019. Current artistic projects: Tres Guitarras (together with José Maria Obeso and Stefan Oser), Oser-Steinrück Quartet (bossa nova and original compositions). CDs Ton tut Not (2019) and Oser-Steinrück Quartet (2025).
Marianna Chelidoni
Since childhood, Marianna has had a great passion for classical guitar, which she began playing at the age of ten. She began her musical education at the National Conservatory of Athens, where she graduated with honours. She then continued her studies at the Royal Conservatory in Brussels with Antigoni Goni, where she obtained her Bachelor of Music degree.
In search of new cultural and musical inspiration, Marianna moved to Berlin, where she studied at the University of the Arts with Rainer Feldmann. During her studies, she developed a particular interest in Baroque music and took lessons in Baroque guitar and theorbo with Sam Chapman.
Marianna has been invited to perform as a soloist and chamber musician in various countries, including Italy, Germany, Belgium, France and Greece. Particularly noteworthy are her performances at the Alte Musik Fest Friedenau and at the Teatro all’Antica – the first free-standing, purpose-built theatre of modern times – in Italy, as well as her participation in the recording Ros’ Praetorius 1571–2021–1621. Another special moment was the world premiere of works by composer Vasileios Panousis in Berlin. A further highlight was her recent collaboration with the Brussels Region on the occasion of International Women’s Day 2024 – a concert in front of 2,500 listeners at Mont des Arts.
