We will learn a lot about how to play a guitar this school year. But have you ever wondered, how a guitar is made? We invited a great guitar maker to visit us from his workshop just outside Vienna. He will show us, what it transform a piece of wood into a beautifully sounding instrument. With him he will bring not only some of his finished instruments, that have never been played before, but also the guitar in its many stages of development. We will get to see the tools and the raw materials.

Kacper Dworniczak
Kacper Dworniczak was born in 2001 in Poznań, Poland. He graduated Jadwiga Kaliszewska State Music High School in Poznań. In 2020 he began his studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz in the guitar class of Lukasz Kuropaczewski and Paolo Pegoraro.
Kacper started playing the guitar when he was six. Since then he has regularly played at various concerts. Not only has he taken part in many music competitions, but he has also won some of them. He is a laureate of over 40 international and national competitions in countries such as Poland, Germany, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Austria, Greece, Romania, Croatia, Japan and the United States of America.
He is a scholarship recipient of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage of the Government of Poland in the program „Young Poland”, the Marshall of the Greater Poland Voivodeship, the President of the City of Poznan, the Polish Children’s Fund, the mayor of Stęszew and Julian Cochran Foundation’s „Bridge to the Future” program.
In 2017 he made his debut with an orchestra during „Polish – Russian Music Festival” in Moscow, Russia. In 2018, he was nominated for the Polish Young Musician of the Year which was organized by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage of the Government of Poland and Polish Television. He got through to the grand final of the competition and performed „Concierto de Aranjuez” with Polish Radio Orchestra conducted by Michał Klauza.
In 2019, Kacper made his debut at the famous Carnegie Hall in New York. In 2022 played series of concerts solo and with orchestra during Youngmasters Guitar Festival in Samobor, Croatia.
In September 2022, Kacper got into grand final of International Guitar Competition in Miami, where he got 3rd prize. In 2023 He made his debut in Asia, winning 2nd prize at the International Guitar Competition in Tokyo, Japan.
In November 2023 Kacper recorded his first album with a famous PopStar Andrzej Piaseczny „Jeszcze zanim Święta”. After that in December they played a concert tour in all major cities across Poland. In 2024 he was invited for Cavatina Guitar Festival as the only classical guitarist where he played a recital in a prestigious Cavatina Hall in Bielsko – Biała, Poland. Later this year, Kacper has been chosen as one of four Ex- Aequo Initiative artists which resulted in making recordings and playing concert in Austin, Texas this August.
Currently he is working on his first solo album titled „Journey”. The premiere is expected to be at the end of this year.

This Club day is for all guitar students, teachers and enthusiasts, interested in guitar making or in a general deepening their guitar knowledge. Both Tobias Braun and Kacper Dworniczak are experts in their fields. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to learn from them.
